Immobility Noticed
The onions are holding quite still. I cannot tell if this is intentional or if they are simply moving too quickly for the human eye to follow. I have considered using stop-motion filming, but I do not have electricity since the thunderstorm last week blew out my power. I am quite peeved by this, but I do not have power, so I cannot call the power company to log my complaint. I had laundry in the washing machine when the power went out, so I tried to hang my wet things from the upper window. Only I took them down when I realized that the onions might try something. They are now hanging in the living room. I hope the carpet does not stain. I miss warm food.

It's Been a While
The cats are gone now, but there are onions there instead. I don't know how onions got onto the roof, or if their appearance is somehow related to the absence of the cats. I worry for the neighbors, whom I suspect might be allergic to onions. I would call them, but we have never been introduced and I would not want them to know that I am in here in case they know the owner of the house. I will continue to watch the onions, and perhaps I will check a different window to see if the cats have simply moved. They are quite agile.
